Music that celebrates the majesty of the earth, the heavens and all nature will be performed by the Fox Chamber Singers. Musical descriptions of this amazing world will delight the audience as we head into the delight of a Midwestern summer. Composers all over the world and of several choral genres will be on the program. Modern composers like James Macmillan and Ola Gjielo, will be joined by Clara and Robert Schumann, Lili Boulanger, the great impressionist composer, and their friend Johannes Brahms. Interesting textures from the avant garde to gospel and of course, classical music will offer a changing listening experience. |
